This January we celebrate our 15th year in full time music ministry.

Purpose:
We are called of God to tell the Good News through music.

Personal: We started singing together during high school and sang at youth events, campfires, and hay rides. After we were married we sang when we could at churches and special events but everything revolved around Bob's work schedule. In January of 1998 Bob took early retirement from Southwestern Bell Telephone (now AT&T) to give more time to our music ministry. Bob is an ordained minister of the gospel. We are both graduates of seminary extension, Sylvia in education ministries and Bob in pastoral ministries. We have two daughters, two great son-in-laws, and five grand kids.

Our Ministry: We are called of God as Music Evangelists. We minister in church meetings, revivals, camps, prisons, and many other events. We witness through music and testimony. We do not charge or ask for a love offering. God has always provided for our needs.

Our Music Style: We use several instruments including: keyboard, guitar, harmonica, horn, and banjo. We also use a variety of styles of music to reach different age groups. We sing Southern Gospel, Hymns, and Praise and Worship. Most of the songs we do are upbeat and uplifting.

References: Feel free to contact our pastor ( Chad Mantooth) at our home church Temple Baptist Church of Amarillo Texas, our Bible study leader (Jess Roan), or our deacon flock leader (Jim Cherry). You may call the church office and ask for their phone numbers. The church office number is (806) 372-2306.

Bob's Testimony:  I was saved at a small Baptist church in Lubbock Texas at the age of 8. I realized that I was lost and gave my life to Jesus and committed to be a deciple and follow His leadership in my life. I always thaought tht the Lord would call me to be a pastor, but I was always put in the area of music. I lead music in a small church in South Texas at 10 years old and from there it seemed like that was where God would use me. God has given me the gift and love of Christian music. I play several instruments: keyboard, guitar, harmonica, digital horn, banjo, dobro and several others (though non of which I play well.) I love the Lord and I hope is is reflected in our music.

Sylvia's Testimony:  in progress.
